Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 Aviano Italy), American actress. Her fame is for her naive roles that are charming and likable. Adams was raised in Castle Rock Colorado, as the youngest child of seven. Her father was in U.S. service in Italy. The mid-1990s saw her begin professional dancing and acting with the Boulder Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. After that, she joined an area theatre located in Minnesota in which she was featured as a character in a film mock documentary concerning beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Her screen debut was as an attractive, bright-eyed contestant. Then she moved to Los Angeles in order to make a name for herself as an actor.
