Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress is well-known for her role as the lead in many television programs as well as her outstanding performances in films. Her work is a hit on Canadian and American television. Emily began to become interested after she watched her sister Katie working on a film. As Emily discovered her passion of acting, she enrolled in training in acting classes and went to auditions. She started out with a couple of ads, and was soon selected for Are You afraid of the Dark, a Canadian horror show for kids. She was only seen in only one scene and without dialog. At the age 15, Emily got her first big break when she became an actor on the WB show Glory Days. Emily's acting attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti, despite the fact that the show ended after just nine episodes. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular on Everwood. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer and was also a photographer. Teen listed her as one top actress under 20. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 placed Emily at number 51.
